We are so excited to welcome you into our salon, Summer Hours. Below you will find our policies for stylists and clients to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Masks are no longer required for fully vaccinated and non-vaccinated clients but are suggested. 

If you prefer that your stylist wear a face covering during your appointment, do not hesitate to ask. 

If you have been feeling unwell or sick in the past 72 hours, please reschedule your appointment with your stylist and stay home. If you feel unwell or have the following symptoms, please do not enter the building and call your healthcare provider. Symptoms include fever, cough & shortness of breath. Please reschedule or cancel your appointment under your stylists’ cancellation policy. 

Salon Key Prevention Practices Include:

  • Frequent hand-washing and regular cleaning of salon and disinfection of all equipment

  • Training stylists on these and other elements of the COVID-19 prevention plan

  • Use of Molekule air purification system

  • All stylists & staff are fully vaccinated

  • Disposable face coverings are available upon request

Before Your Appointment:

  • All equipment and salon is cleaned between each client with an EPA-registered disinfectant that demonstrates bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal activity and is approved for COVID-19.

  • Stylists are trained in the cleanliness of salon equipment and salon guidelines.

  • Stylists have refreshed their sanitation skills by participating in an online training conducted by Barbicide; the EPA-registered disinfectant we use

Your Appointment Time:

  • Upon arrival at the salon, please get in touch with your stylist via the phone number they’ve provided to you to let them know you’ve arrived

  • While the door remains open for airflow, please kindly wait for your stylist in our outdoor waiting area adjacent to the salon entrance or the seating area directly outside of the studio.

During Your Appointment:

  • A clean towel and drape are used on every client

  • All high-touch surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between every guest

  • Minx Studio accepts cash and cash-free payments; please plan to use a contactless form of payment such as ApplePay or a card if cash is not available
